Nice when on your way (but we have seen equally or bit better). Parking space and sign guiding the 220m to viewing platform.

Rakaia Gorge Campsite next to: !!!BACKPACKERS NOT WELCOME!!!! I arrived late in the nught after very long drive, cant drive no more, feel really tired but some very rudy kiwi man came to me and was lighting into my face and kick me out off the capmsite because he said no camping for me, because I arrived late, because it is no check in (there is any!) and he dont want me there!!! So rude. So dont come here. I cant recommend staying in this place! Rude old kiwis!
