Really nice track, the best for me in NZ till now.If you're fit, I did it in 3h50 including 20 minutes stop at the top.

Nice walk with the swing bridges, comment below is not for this track as it takes at least 2 hours to go to the view point. Also, YES you do need hiking shoes and YES it does get slippery even without rain... Please avoid dumb comments that make dumb people make dumb decisions (eventually leading local authorities to make dumb regulations...)

You are in good shape, you like adventure and you are not dumb to do tracks in sandals ? Robert Point is for you! Gorgeous forest, slippery rocks, bridges, waterfalls and scary stairs are waiting for you! One of the best short track in NZ. The final view is really worth it... Start early to avoid crowd, plan approx. 4h30 return and enjoy!
