New Zealands unique birdlife can be observed at close quarters in the Queens Park aviary.
In the farmyard corner rabbits, guinea pigs, domestic fowl and guinea fowl are kept in enclosures, and more exotic animals such as wallaby, alpaca and ostrich, attract much attention.

Very nice gardens / park. There is small botanical greenhouse, an aviary and a small zoo with various animals. Definitely worth a stop.
