This was one of the highlights of my visit to New Zealand. The Okarito kiwi is the rarest kiwi of the country so it is a special treat to observe this wild animal. Ian is a top notch guide whose passion shows, and he leads others in the best methods for seeing kiwi without disturbing them. We were able to watch a kiwi on the trail!

Great tour to see very rare kiwis in there wild place. Ian is very enthusiastic and doing a very very good job. We saw 2 kiwis and heard them shouting to each other. Highly recommended!!!

Chasing down kiwi's with a tracker is not my way to spot them! I think it's weird to give al kiwi's a chip and then find them for tourist so they can make money.. i think the kiwi's will do better if you just let them be..
