Amazing 360 view from the top, there are creek to cross but you find way to don't wet your shoes

W O W ! Best hike ! It took me 6h+15 min. return (lots of breaks+easy pace). Id say 70% of the track is covered in grass > ideal for barefeet (#primalmovement). There are 6 river crossings at the beginning (knee high deep - shoes off). Ive not experienced such a silence in NZ and I only met one guy MTB. View at the top is grande ! Do it !

Great 5h hike! Stunning view at the top (1398m), and before. I don't recommand to do ot barefeet in winter because there is snow at the top!
