AMAZING hike (climb sometimes on the dirt). It was super hard and suuuper beautiful at the alpine line. Trail seemed to be unmarked half way at the alpine section so I did not make it to the summit :/ None the less SO rewarding ! Tip: do not go alone and bring enough water as you will not pass any creeks or wwterfalls to tap from !

Took me 7h to get to the summit, Mt Shrimpton, and back (incl. lunch break). Astonishing view from the top! First part in the forest is clearly marked and steep, after that the trail is less clear (and more steep, almost vertical at the last 100m) but since you can see the peak, it's pretty obvious, you gotta go up!
