The Barn Backpackers has accommodation options to suit all weary travellers and other services include an internet café, comfortable kitchens, bathrooms, a shop and laundry.
Pitch a tent amongst our campsite's shady trees and listen to the native birds. Sleep under the stars and wake looking out over the Beach and Pacific Ocean in either our Powered or Non-Powered Sites.
Winter or summer, camping is a great option in this sheltered spot that enjoys the highest number of sunshine hours in New Zealand.
The Barn Backpackers and Campground has secluded yet spacious campsites looking across Tasman Bay and to the foothills of Abel Tasman National Park.

Clean facilities and friendly staff, right next to the Abel Tasman track. Facilities were clean and tidy but kitchen area was quite busy with young backpackers. A little expensive, but showers are free which makes up for it in my opinion. Overall a lovely stay with a positive atmosphere! Caution: open mic down the road on a Thursday, so bring earplugs unless you plan on joining for a boogie ;)
Tiki and Tui
Spent two nights there before and after tramping in the Abel Tasman National Park. It's a lovely campsite, very nice facilities and lots of space. We loved it

Very pretty spot, friendly staff and wekas. Nice clean facilities and heaps of space. Good access to beach and walking tracks. Bar and restaurant close by.
