Small campsite behind a bar/restaurant next to a road. Friendly people. Facilities are a bit old but clean. Not so powerful shower. Fully equipped kitchen, not very cosy though. Picnic/beer garden area and small playground for young children. Free WiFi.

Oh my goodness. Blah. They hate freedom campers. Used their phone ,needed r/side rescue. Got one hell of ear bashing re campers using there toilets, please respect the south island the locals are completely pissed of with freedom campers. They are campaigning to ban it. The owner of this place is one of them.

The place was very nice, clean with beautiful picnic tables, the kitchen was small but it was not too much people, so was ok, the guy who recieved me was nice also and show me all the camping, but with a friend we went to the bar and the owner was rude with us, i think she does not like the people from outside of New Zealand
