Not worth the $39 we ended up paying... Food and wine granted was lovely, but host was hostile towards us, we got the impression she didn't want campers on the site. Upon arrival, we were asked "were there no other campsites further up you could stay at?" which makes us question why they're on this site? $29 later in the evening, we were left to find the showers and other facilities ourselves. The owner then pulled up the next morning, asked if we were leaving yet (this was before 9am) and then charged us an extra $10 the showers. They should decide whether they wish to fully commit to allowing campers to use the property, in that case, a more upfront approach to the pricing is necessary. The older lady should work on her communication skills regardless, for the future.

Very cool staff ! We were staying for one night. Possibility to sleep on the park for free if you dinner at the Tavern. We already eat so we paid each of us 10$. Pretty quiet near the road.

I couldn't agree less to the comment below! The owner was really friendly and welcoming. We paid for food, which was highly delicious, and beer, so the night and shower was included. The ambiance is old and cosy with an open fire. Of course it's more expensive than a DOC but with the food and a warm shower, I say: it's worth to stay.
