Stayed here last night. Lovely, HUGE campsite. Only two others. Big grass areas to be on, some parts boggy but mostly fine. Flush loos were a bit mank, but worked ha and water available (boil before drinking). We did the Franks Stream Track from here, about 10km's, took about 3.5 hours. No phone signal here. Great spot. Huge campsite. Enough space for smaller music festival. We stayed here for 2 days and not even one person showed up. This very quiet place offer 2 flushing toilets, non drinkable water, kilometres of different tracks through the rainforest. No signal here at all. To get here could be a bit difficult as google maps shows your destination from other side of river. Price is 8$ per person.

Very nice campsite. About 6 big meadows, only a few campers and tents. Two blocks of toilets, flushing. The Catlins River Walk runs through wonderful rainforest, almost a forest escaped from a fairy tale. Quite a tough track, but one can turn around whenever one wants. I walked to Wallis Stream in about 3,5hours. And then the return, of course.
