This is a really nice lodge which you can use the clean and new facilities whilst you stay in your van. As the previous reviewer said you can't stay in the lodge from 11am-3pm whilst they clean but we found the lady to be friendly. Nice and warm in the lodge for autumn, chilly out in the van as it is close to a lovely beach. Really worth it.

There are 7 Campsites, but the owner dont like Camper!!! She is very unfriendly. She say at the first day it is no Problem sit in the kitchen after 10 Clock. And on the next day she say we have to move, because cleaning. But nobody do anything. The Rooms are very expencive. 95$ - Its better go to 'Waitaki Water Holiday Park'

Great spot! Lots of space and superb toilet & shower (free). Beautiful lodge right next to the beach. There are many spots for powered ($35/vehicle) and unpowered spots ($25). NO KITCHEN for campers unless you are staying at the lodge ($100/room). There is hot tub for $80-90 per tub. Karen & Grant were very nice allowing us to park near the toilets as there was no one else here and very welcoming.
