Description
Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY.
The duration of a stay may be no more than 4 nights in any single calendar month.
The hours of use are restricted to the period 5pm to 9am the following day.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.
Dogs are not permitted.

Work is being done on car park... Leveling I think!? So no camping just now. Looks like it would be a great spot to spend the night though with toilet and very close to beautiful Falls

Theis place is alright, has some big potholes that fill up with rain. Please dont leave your garbage theres a family of wekas here and theyre tying to feed their chicks!

It's open again. And they did a very good job reconstructing the gravel in the parking lot and the trail. Very nice and quiet spot close to the falls
