Stayed here the other night, not as nice as around Bush, but different. Very quiet but where we were was opposite someone's house so be respectful. Did a nice jog in the morning, half way around the lake, couldn't go any further. Toilets were open but very blocked up. Plenty of litter too, we picked up as much as we could. Keep NZ beautiful. Quiet, a lot of space. Nice lake. The toilets are old and dirty though. Has been a while since they have been cleaned!

[Update Jun-21] Camp has reopened. [DOC Alert] Due to impacts of the Lake Ohau Fire, the campsite is closed while logging crews work in the area to make it safe again. A decision about re-opening this campsite will not be made until late February 2021.
