Large, flat, surrounded by bush, with good facilities. An open sided cooking/food prep shelter, plus modern shower and toilet block. However the new toilet block appears closed, leaving the older carpark one available. Showers still available. While it does have a few 'nooks' for camping in tents, and reversing cars/vans into, it is otherwise 2 x largely open expansive sites with a perimeter of native bush. Mobile coverage on both Spark and 2Degrees is highly variable depending on where you are exactly, move a few metres and it goes from 3-4 to 1-2 bars. I have dual SIM so can test both simultaneously. In general, the Northern end near the shower block has the best signal. The area towards Bellbird walk (Southern end) has lower signal.

SLOW THE FLAX DOWN PEOPLE! Twisting, bush road in and little Wekas everywhere, so slow down, it's not a rally track. Ye, Wekas everywhere, lovely little creatures. Stayed here last night, quite busy, but plenty of space to choose from. Clean loos, bins inc recycling and indoor cold showers. All good! We had full Skinny signal too at the campsite. Lovely place. Nip down to Swimmers Beach too, warm waters. Find us on Instagram if you're touring @saltyskin
