Hut is amazing, large space, fireplace. Amazing lake with beautiful views. Bunkrooms above the main building or next to it.

Very rocky ground. It's hard to pitch the tent. Otherwise nice to stay in the nature and the walk makes it worth staying here!

Unlike the other two huts on the Routeburn track, there's a good chance you won't actually get your own independant bunk bed. Most are 4-person bunks and there's one massive long bunk in the upstairs area so just a heads up you may be sleeping side by side with a stranger. Otherwise it's a stunning location with great facilities in the common areas. Reasonably clean flushing toilets.
