Nice little hut with awesome views. Rustic, but well maintained. The Mt Judah is pretty easy/intermediate (4h to the hut), and track goes through a lot of historic huts and mining relics. If you want to push further at the hut easily, we went to point 1506 with great views on the surroundings. Some people also try to reach Mt Alaska summit, but it requires more energy and navigation skills as the former track seem to have some washouts. /!\ No fireplace in the hut so can be quite cold at night /!\
