Description
This is a standard 12-bunk hut located in Kahurangi National Park in the Motueka area. Fees apply. Bookings not required - first come, first served.
Facilities include heating, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water (not treated - boil before use).
Tracks to the hut: Leslie-Karamea Track.
Before you go, buy 1 Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, yellow for youth) for each night's stay. Put this in the honesty box at the hut. Or buy a Backcountry Hut Pass that gives unlimited use at most Standard and Serviced huts for a 6 or 12-month period.

Beautiful hut! Stunning location in the valley with views of crow glacier and Mt Rollestone. We came from the avalanche peak side and down the scree slope, which wasn't as bad as we expected, and then out to Klondyke Corner. Instagram: katcal_
