Freedom camping permitted in CERTIFIED SELF-CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY.
You may stay a maximum of two consecutive nights, and no more than 10 nights per 30-day period.
This is a road reserve with a car parking area suitable for 10-15 vehicles. There are no facilities.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.

Good spot off the beaten track. Short gravel road in which is fine for a 2wd. No toilets, the beach is a bit of walk and sandflies are a bit of an issue (not as bad as some places further down). The stars though are on another level!! We had about 3 others with us.
