This is a beautiful site. I'd happily stay another night if we had the time. The ranger visited us, he was polite and informative. We had posh burgers from Mikey's, delicious and such a nice guy. Also saw a couple of sea lions.
The Flying Brick
Awesome spot, come every year for a couple of days. Depending of time of the year fantastic weather and sun sets, great beaches, sometimes get to see seals and sea lions. Right by the beach, relax back with the waves crashing on the beach. If Mikey's Kai Cart is there, well worth getting something, his food is awesome!!!

Just spent two wonderful nights here, as did one other. You can park in the carpark which isn't huge and gets busy with locals etc or you can park in a grassed area overlooking the salt lakes, we did both. Aramoana is absolutely beautiful a real paradise.
