A lot of rough people camping here that have been here for a long time. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable on my own as female in a tent. I found a comfy spot near the river but was worried about the river rising not sure how quickly it rises as I was clearly on a flood area!!

There's a sign at the entrance saying the campground is only for families, we went anyways. No problems whatsoever :) just felt a bit uncomfy as we didn't know if we were welcome here, lots of rough people around. Quite rocky sites, hard to pitch tent. Paying by card is nice, and I think its worth the $7.

Get a spot by the river and it's lovely. Lots of nooks and crannies to park up. A few long termers but felt safe enough. $8 pp via honesty box.
