Nice spot! But be careful of leaving things outside your vehicle as we had some weirdo going through our washing line (which is attached to our van) looking through our clothes at 6.15am When we woke up the person heard us and ran off

Lovely spot, quiet, good vibes, sunset and clean toilets ! Thank you Akaroa. By reading the previous comments, I was a bit afraid to find the campground full so I arrived arrived early around 1pm yesterday and it was almost empty. Around 7pm 14/18 were occupied. Due to covid, Akaroa is very quiet. You will find a spot easily :)

Plenty of space. Close to town and places to eat. Currently not much open so seems like a ghost town but lovely and quiet.
