Lovely place! Nice kitchen. Got the super King room as double wasn't available. Lovely room, motel like with TV. We booked online when we arrived as it is not attended. We were called back almost right away with instructions.

Very hard to find someone to check in,we try two day and always wait,ring and txt but reply after one hour,we give up,if you want stay here,maybe better booking before you come.

This is probably the best backerpacker I sleep in during my time in NZ.Clean toiletts amd clean and warm shower [with high water pressure (: ].Lovely familiar atmosphere in the small Backpacker and wonderful owners.I stood here for a few weeks while working in Cromwell and after one day I felt like beeing home.Be polite and you will love it.
