Description

Located along the Routeburn Track Great Walk, Routeburn Falls is a cascading waterfall approximately 3 to 4 hours walk from the Routeburn Shelter. You are strongly recommended NOT to attempt this track between early May and late October (outside the Great Walks season). The winter environment in Fiordland and Mt Aspiring National Park is very cold and wet, with ice, snow, avalanches and short daylight hours.
