Reopened after the bridged path collapsed. Visited it because I was doing the high tide track anyway, so it was only a 20min return detour. From the aesthetic perspective you don't miss anything. If you want to go for a sweet water swim, go for it. Don't leave your packs unattended!!! Weka birds are very smart and ruthless(almost like keas). They rip off you packs searching for food.

Beautiful waters and fun to climb, go for a swim or just chill and meditate. We were lucky enough to see a sweet little seal on the way up the stream who was just swimming around having a good time

Pretty disappointing. It is neat, but far away of being a must do, at least for us.
