Description

Cape Campbell Lighthouse marks the southern approaches to Cook Strait. It is situated on the eastern coast of New Zealands South Island, about 50 kilometres from Blenheim. Cape Campbell Lighthouse is accessible to the public at low tide only from Marfells Beach. There is no public access to enter the lighthouse Access and accommodation can also be arranged through Experience Cape Campbell.

To get to the lighthouse you have to walk from Marfells campsite - it's a 12km round trip and you can see the entire bay at the end, it's a beautiful walk but make sure you do it when the tide is going out or you could get caught at the lighthouse!
