Description

Freedom Camping on DOC land within the Catlins Head Recreation Reserve. Camping is restricted to Self Contained vehicles only. The duration of a stay may be no more than 4 nights in any single calendar month. The hours of use are restricted to the period from 5.00 pm to 9.00 am the following day. The restrictions apply from 2 October to 31 March in the following year, inclusive. Camping is prohibited from April 1st through to October 1st. Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
