No campervan tour of the South Island is complete without a night in Milford Sound. We have a range of powered sites for campervans, all located within the beauty of Milford Sound. Stay for a night or two, enjoy full use of our facilities and soak up all that this special corner of the world has to offer. Ensure you book ahead Our forest campervan sites are incredibly popular during the summer months of November April; we have the only campervan sites in Milford Sound. Ensure you book well in advance if you are planning on visiting during this time. During the winter months of May to September, we generally have lots of space, so there is less need to pre-book. Please note we only offer sites for campervans (self-contained or not is ok) we do not offer tent sites at Milford Sound Lodge.

Great secluded spots in between trees/hedgerows. Toilet facilities immaculate and private. Insect repellent is a must, as it is in most places on the west coast. Large kitchen facilities and lounge. Little to no internet reception, wifi reception only around the reception area. Short drive to the harbour, ideal staging ground for a cruise.

Great location, very short drive to Milford. Really nice private large sites. Showers are piping hot and super clean. Nice big individual cubicles. Friendly and helpful staff. Wifi free for the first 500MB only and only available in the lounge so download your streaming services before you head up. Dryers and washers are expensive, $5 for each. Kitchen was clean with hot hot water. Bins available, I did think the sign saying "it's even better if you take your rubbish out of the park with you" was gratuitous. We paid $70 a night for our site, it's reasonable to expect to have a space to responsibly dispose of rubbish.

Great spot, awesome facilities and exceptionally helpful reception staff. It was really nice relaxing at the sound rather than rushing in and out. was able to do a morning cruise then walk to Giants Gate Falls on the Milford track in the afternoon...and still have time to relax and swim in the river. Really nice
