very sweet place, very welcoming staff. kitchen with pots and pand and mor for a free use, has a track for the lake + glow worms, clean toilets, free hot shower. beautiful view of horses, has a horse riding on the beach love it there very much check out is 11:30 am

Super fun and quirky camp site/farm stay just out of Takaka. The owner was so warm and welcoming, and we felt right at home from the get go. She offered to have us park our roof tent inside the barn to shelter it from the bad weather that night. No wifi and a basic kitchen which was more than adequate for us. There is a 20min or so walk to the beach that passes through a glow worm colony. A must stay if you're in the area. We will be back!

Great campsite! The owner and staff are super nice, facilities are clean and the shower is soooo good! Price 15$ per person per night which I think is a good price. They have horses, chicken and cows and you can follow a 'track' to see glowworms by night
