We stayed here a week ago - Pros * Two massive fields with plenty of space * Wasn't busy Cons * Toilets were a trek if you stayed in first field Enjoy your trip round NZ and message us on @megnmoosetravels

Excellent free camp! Loads of space, keep following the road once you drive in as there are many spots including a big field. 2 basic DOC style long drop toilets located in the field. Nice and peaceful. A few other campers there. In heavy rain it may flood, so would go in dry weather. No other facilities, so better to have everything you need with you. Wakefield nearby is a cute historical town with some nice parks and murals.
