Great spot to camp, close to Taylors Mistake and Godley Heads walk. Toilets are kinda grim but the ones close to the park (which has a really cool 4 way rope swing and a hamster wheel!!) are better and it's quieter down that way also.

Beautiful spot, lots of parking space, nice toilets with drinking water and outdoor showers. You can find your favourite spot on the grass strip between road and beach walk. It's close to restaurants and a supermarket.

Tasman Travels

We first stayed along here in 2020, when we had our Hiace, now in a 7metre Sprinter we couldn't fit in one of the parking bays, without blocking the pathway, didn't want to do that in case of pushchairs or wheelchairs, so, carried on round to Heberden Avenue, before the turn off to the boat ramp and before the hill, not very level, and not quiet at night this time, but free and great views! So, thanks again Sumner!! Find us on YouTube if you're touring @TasmanTravels
