Description

This is a basic two-bunk hut located in Ruataniwha Conservation Park in the Mackenzie Country and Waitaki area. There are no fees. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Facilities include heating, mattresses, non-flush toilets and water from a stream. South Huxley Bivvy is 8 - 9 hours (23 km) up the Huxley valley, off Hopkins valley at the end of Lake Ohau Road.
