Many campers but also a massive site. We arrived at 17:30 and still managed to get a spot with lake views (on the upper terrace). Toilet is a far walk (from there), but you can park closer to the toilet and not have a lake view. Very handy location to get an early morning start to Mount Cook. Would recommend!

Very massive spot with beautiful views of Mont Cook and Pukaki lake. Lots of people, some parked as if they were by themselves and taking 3 spots and blocking the view for everyone... Clean toilets block on the lower spot !

Lovely view if it's not cloudy. A good few tents were set up for the couple of nights that we were there. So nice to swim in the lake and sunbathe on the rocks! Toilets were clean and only smelly when the wind dropped.
