Spoke with MacKenzie Camping Ambassadors today (10.02.24). Officially the whole coast of Pukaki is closed for camping but as signs haven't gone up yet they are lenient and let people stay the night in SC vehicles. This applies to all places along the shore of the lake. Only campground remaining then will supposedly be The Pines Campsite, Lake Pukaki. So beware that as soon as the signs are up they will enforce this.

Really nice spot with awesome views, a bit higher on the cliff than the first camps too but hills down to the water. Plenty of space, approx 10 vans/caravans on 26/12.

Lovely spot. On the hard. Bags of room
