Description

Use this campsite as a base to walk or mountain bike in the Lake hau area or in Ruataniwha Conservation Park. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Pay cash on arrival at the self-registration stand at the campsite. No fees after Easter weekend 30 September. Facilities include dump station, flushing toilets, boat ramp, water (not treated - boil before use). NOTE: This campsite is downgraded to a Basic campsite with reduced facilities after Easter weekend to 30 September. Fires are not permitted at any time. Dogs on a leash only.
