Stayed here for one night in a campervan. Paid with honesty box as no one was around. Easy to find, down a gravel path but not for too far. Despite gorgeous weather when we there, it wasn't crowded at all. Right by the lake, lots of birds, some picnic tables. Toilets were fine, no toilet paper - bring your own. We used the non drinking water tank to do hand washing laundry and there were sinks to empty that into. Overall, secluded, quiet, beautiful views, we enjoyed it.

$10 daily rate, honesty box provided. I didn't stay here last night because there was very little information about the site, and some not very informative reviews, and it would have been a long drive back to the free campsite I'd stayed at the night before. So I decided to have a drive down here today and check it out. Some campers said it was fine staying there in their tent, but that there's little maintenance done as it's not a staffed campsite (I'll upload pictures of the signage). That said, it did the job and there was plenty of space (numbered pitches) and they felt safe there. Lakes are beautiful and it's a wildlife refuge area so lots of bird species around. The unsealed road only lasts for a couple of minutes and it was no trouble to get down

Great spot. Fabulous view of the stars, even caught the southern lights the other day. The tillerman will come to collect your $10, make sure you have cash!
