Description

This paid campground $10 daily rate or $90 yearly membership fee) offers toilets, a picnic area and a cooking bench. Dogs and cats are not permitted. It is accessible to RVs, camper trailers, caravans and big rigs. Camping in tents is allowed. Take the road past Mt John Observatory for a few more km until you see a small blue road sign which says 'Lake Alexandrina Outlet' and turn left there (you'll see a DOC sign for the wildlife refuge and there's a bay on your left with glass recycling). Unsealed road only takes a couple of minutes to drive down and you'll see the campsite on your right
