This small Standard-level DOC paid campground offers lake side swimming, camp kitchen shelter, fresh water (boil), picnic tables, jetty, and long drop toilets. It is accessible to pedestrians, cyclists, motorbikes, car campers, camper vans, RVs and camper trailers. Flat grassy areas for tents are lakeside with a gravel area for vehicles (note gravel area is not level and has an obvious slope towards the lake). Big Rigs/larger Caravans may have difficulty turning around of other vehicles present.

Beautiful spot to stop for lunch or a pit stop. Clean flushing toilets. Lovely view of the lake, water was still and crystal clear. Poor phone reception. Water not potable. Would be a lovely spot to camp if you needed a place to sleep en route.

Nice along the lake for the night. New bathrooms and a sink area. Bad cell reception. A few mosquitos and sand flies, enough to require repellent. People camping in tents. $8 per person but no payment envelops.

Nice, peaceful site right by the lake! Visited on 21st Dec and looked as though they were adding the finishing touches to some new loos there! There were 5 vans and a few tents staying but friendly vibe. A load of us sat out on the pier chatting and watching the stars! Lake was warm to swim in and could spot a few eels if you looked hard enough. Decent signal and easy access from the road. Big rigs were v loud during the night so may not be good for light sleepers. Keep it clean, keep it open! Say hello on IG if you're exploring too! @CaiBurton - Travelling Illustrator
