Description

This is a standard campsite in the Coastal Otago area. Camp in a sheltered area surrounded by beech and podocarp forest. River, walking and tramping nearby. 20 non-powered/tent sites. Bookings not required - first come, first served. Pay cash on arrival at the self-registration stand at the campsite. Fires are not permitted at any time. Dogs on a leash only. Off SH1 at Herbert, turn into Ord St, left at Monk St, then right into Glencoe Rd. 2 km west of Herbert. Gravel road access.
