Many, many native birds (kerenu, kaka, kokapo, north island robin, kiwi, etc.), many native trees (rimu, tawa, matai), 1h loop & 2h loop with nice information desks. Lots to see, lots to learn! Really enjoyed it.

The view from the road is amazing, I suppose. Because it was raining when I came... The kokako is easier to hear than to see. 12 km of gravel road to arrive here.
