Not a place to stay at the marked location. Few spots along the grafel road to sleep on the side of the road. But DOC site states no camping at hike parking spots here

The law states that you may free camp on public ground if there is no indication of camp prohibited.

As this is a DOC administered Scenic Reserve, camping is prohibited under the Reserves Act (at Scenic and Recreation Reserves camping is prohibited by default, and permitted by exception). On all other DOC land, camping is permitted by default (and prohibited by exception).
