Sick spot. Simon and Shorty are very friendly, even shared a meal with them! Met some awesome people traveling through this place. Beautiful walk to the beautiful Ruapuke beach. Not crowded early in the season with peak season being December and early January. Pretty quite place overall. No cell service but does have WiFi just ask for the password if you wish but nothing like being secluded here. Head to the small stream left side of the beach track and see the large eels!

Hidden gem- close to great surf & fishing spot Ruapuke Beach. Best star-gazing. Good fellow campers who love nature & being a bit off the grit 15$ per adult, 10$ kids, under 4 y free Dogs allowed (on leash).
