Description
Otautu Bay Farm Camp is a spacious family camp beside a sandy beach and estuary on the Hauraki Gulf coastline of the Coromandel Peninsula. It is located 30 minutes north of Coromandel town and 10 minutes north of Colville. Colville has a general store and is the northernmost stop for petrol/gas and general supplies.
Otautu Bay Farm Camp, which is bordered by a working farm, is spread along the best bay which provides boat launching, excellent fishing, kayaking and a beautiful safe, sandy swimming beach. Otautu Bay is a great place for walking, relaxing and enjoying spectacular sunsets. It is also an excellent base to further explore the northern end of the Coromandel Peninsula.
Accommodation options include: Seaview Appartment, Homestead: (Backpacker/Lodge), Powered Sites and Non Powered Sites.
Facilities include; Coin-operated hot showers, toilets, laundry, accessible facilities. Freezer space available for minimal daily charge.
We accept EFTPOS, Master and Visa cards.
We sell bait, ice and water.
No dogs allowed from 15th December through till 6th February (Waitangi weekend, Easter, Queens Birthday, Labour weekend and Anzac). At other times dogs may be allowed by prior arrangement and must have a current vaccination certificate. Other pets also welcome by prior arrangement. Pets are not allowed in the housed accommodation.

We stopped for two nights in camp area 2. What a beautiful spot to stay. Walk out to water, watch the fisherman, throw out your own line. Relaxing at its best.

Secluded, safe, managed site, lovely management, very basic buy essentials like shower and toilet were always clean and working well. Water isn't drinkable, lovely calm bay
