A beautiful place alongside the Mohaka River, surrounded by mountains. A variety of sites are available including powered and non-powered and river side sites for self-contained campers. Limited and basic food supplies only at reception so please stock up at Taupo or Napier before arriving.

We stayed for one night in mid November 2019 and it was lovely. The new owners (a community of several families) that took over the property in June have big plans to turn their farm into a family friendly place with river rafting, horse back riding and handcrafting courses. We were spontaneously invited to join them for dinner and had a great evening with friendly chats and laughter.

We stayed here one night. After reading the previous comments, we were expecting a lot more from this place though. The owner wasn't unfriendly but not very friendly either, we came at 3pm and he was acting as if we were really bothering him. The camping seems to be especially for locals and they didn't seem very happy to see... see next comment

Amazing and lovely spot! We stayed for one night and can't recommend this place enough. It's amazing. Not many people around, amazing hot shower with plenty of pressure. The farm is in a very good shape, the facilities are nice and clean. Phone reception is not the best down on the camping area, but they have wifi which is working around the toilets.
