Description
The Waiorogonmai Valley Entrance is available through the goodwill of the Matthews Family of Waiorogonmai Station.
NO FIRES.
Campervans only. Camping in tents is not permitted.
Please respect the area.
Take all rubbish with you and leave no trace.
Keep New Zealand clean. Always use the toilet in your vehicle or a public toilet.
Walking time to the Waiorogonmai Hut (4 bunk) is approx 1.5 hour. 4.5km.

Campervans only, no tents. This is DoC / private land, hence falls outside swdc's broken camping provisions.

We wanted to stay here with our nsc mazda mpv, but a local told us that it is for campervans only.. so apparently not for nsc
