Awesome free campsite. Heaps of room so lovely and private. Highly recommend it.

Great spot, a few different areas to park or set up tents. Nice walks, very green space. Toilets are fine, basic. There is no cell service.

I have literally stayed at hundreds of free camping areas around Australia and NZ and this is one of the only spots that made me feel unsafe. Looks unmaintained, grass overgrown, dark, no signal, there were only permanent residents using sattelite dishes and all day running generators and totally claiming the shelters for themselves as a living area, looking at you like why are you camping in our garden. I felt like I could have been robbed or murdered and nobody would ever know about it. Luckily I survived the night. I've added a picture so you can see what I mean with overgrown grass.
