Stayed a night here, the road leading up to it was a bit rough but not too much trouble. Some locals are camping/ living there for a bit but they are super friendly. Drop toilet was fine just need loo paper. Please remember to take all rubbish with you!

Great spot in the middle of the forest. Quiet. You can set up a fire and great view on the sky. Toilets but no toilet paper. NO water. I recommand

We spent 2 rainy nights here, some hunters and some other folks camped here too plenty of space some uneven ground and some private little spots too. Long drop DOC toilets. Some great little walks to enjoy but the pillars of hercules are entirely underwhelming but the walk there was still enjoyable in the rain. The gravel road was a bit coarse and bumpy but wasn't the worst we've been on. Definitely worth staying here.
