Places under the trees are very sheltered, just be carefull with the mud. Very nice river 1min walk from the Freecamp

Great campsite, very sheltered, clean toilet etc. Not too many bugs, despite being close to the river. A beautiful spot for birdwatching, we saw a couple of kingfishers, and a very chill Kereru. Only thing was that a hunter had left a deer's head near one of the camps, but we didn't hear any shots while we were there.
