This is a brilliant, free, local council provided freedom NSC permitted site. Every camping style welcome! Right on the beach behind the dunes nestled amongst trees and nature. Two new flush toilets, cold shower, drinking water taps, and also, just discovered if you flip the little dish thing around near the base of it, it's a built in dog water bowl (fills with press tap on the side)- How cute is that. Very sheltered. Loads of space, but could be difficult to find a perfectly flat area. Don't drive down into the dunes. That's not part of the camping area. Full mobile reception (4G) on Spark, and I believe the others. Downside is there are no tables. Minor. Go hang on the beach, much better. Help keep it clean and tidy, even if it's not your mess.

We loved this spot right by the beach - beautiful sunrises, lovely beach walks and great swimming. The neighbours gave us some flounder that they'd caught further down by the river mouth. Excellent clean flushing toilets and outside cold shower to wash off after swimming

Bit of a shame- this campground could be really nice. Lots of space and shade/windshield offered by trees from the beach. Cold water shower. Drinking water. 2x toilets nice and clean. But small group with a load of quad bikes ruined most of the evening circling camping area kicking up loads of dust and incessant noise. Seem to live there semi permanently. Nice spot but if quad bikes are there not worth the journey
