Great spot with fabelous surrounding (river, waterfall, lot of green nature). They receive often groups of young people who are in for a party, we were lucky because they just left. But during high seizoen they are running 9 boats (4-8 people each boat). Great professional rafting of 2,5 hours (in the boat)

We stayed here for one night. After we did the White water rafting which was amazing. They do have people on kiwi buses come in so music was playing until 11, but we where so shattered after rafting we both slept like a baby. To stay one night on an unpowered site and do grade 5 white water rafting for 2 people came to $320

Part 2/2It's a long drive but very beautiful, the last kilometer is gravel path, don't be shy to drive downhill because they help you getting uphill with a four-wheeler, they are used to do that. They also provide horse riding. Kitchen is only open when there are enough people, the food seems to be very good because of the many positive reviews.
