Stayed here on a rainy night, plenty if spots for tents but great uneven ground for puddles. Drop toilet had a lot of flies that was a bit ick really. A huge ute and campertrailer had taken up all of the van spaces next to the shelter while we were there so we parked next to the toilets, a bit of noise from the road and the trains but nothing earplugs couldn't fix. The garage across the road has very very bright lights so unless you have blackout curtains it can be a bit bright.

Good overnight camping spot to break up the Welly-Auckland driving. No frills but a bunch of decent picnic tables, a decent longdrop and drinking water. Deluxe flush toilets 5 min down the road, including small human changing facilities.
