Description
Overnight in Pkaha's Reserve from the comfort of your campervan and choose a tour to suit your travel plans. Bookings required at least 48 hours notice.
Enjoy our campervan facilities: green spaces and picnic tables, plus roomy toilets.
We offer three packages:
1. Campervan overnight stay with dawn tour
A tour is three hours, from 6am-9am.
Dawn tours operate Friday, Saturday Sunday mornings.
Minium age 10 years.
2. Campervan overnight stay with night tour
A night tour is two hours 7.30pm 9.30pm
Night tours operate Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights.
Minium age 10 years.
3. Campervan overnight stay with guided day tour
A guided tour is 1.5 hours
Guided tours available Thursday, Friday, Saturday 11am and 2pm, Sunday 11am
Please note no pets are permitted in campervans or the Reserve.

I'm Hungry
We did not stay here but the $22 walk of the forest was absolutely amazing. It's a breeding centre and even though they are in captivity you know they will be released soon. We saw all the karikis, kahurangu the kokako, kiwis, tuataras, about 20-30 kakas in the wild during the kaka talk and heaps of geckos. Toilets outside and small cafe inside. About an hour to do the walk at very slow pace.
